NAB Cup - Dees vs Freo - February 21st, 2010

In case you have been living under a stone, the Dees will be coming to Perth to compete in Round 1 of the NAB cup when they take on Fremantle at Subiaco oval on Sunday, 21st February, 2010.

Details known at this stage are as follows:

Tickets available from Ticketmaster, commencing February 8th - phone 1300-136122.

All tickets are general admission (unseated) - Western Demons will be assembling in Block 111 (near players race), enter via Gate 26

Ticket prices are $21.40 (Adult), $6.10 (Child),  & $15.90 (Concession).  A Family ticket can be purchased for $42.80, which includes entry for 2 adults and up to 4 children under 18 years of age.

Game starts 5.40pm.  After-match function in Subiaco FC Members Lounge, free entry, coaches and some players to be in attendance, raffles with great prizes, etc

The team will be arriving in Perth on Saturday afternoon, and there will be a short training session between 5.30 & 6.30pm at Leederville oval.

Please try and get along and support the boys in their first serious hit-out for 2010.

"Picture This" Photo Comp - Open Again in 2010

The Western Demons once again invite you to participate in a fun competition aimed at finding the most interesting or original photo of a Dees supporter while travelling, in Australia or around the world, on holidays or business, and taken at some notable or exotic location that may or may not be related to MFC or AFL footy for that matter.

The idea is, next time you are about to travel, remember to pack some of your Melbourne clothing, or a Demons flag perhaps, and when you come across an interesting location or situation, get someone to take a photo of you proudly displaying your red-and-blue colours, then send the selected photos to the Western Demons email address so as they can be posted on our website for all to see how committed you are to supporting our great team.  At the end of the year, the WD Committee will select the most interesting or original photos to receive a small award.
