The raffle will be drawn at the above address at 8pm on Saturday 25th July.

TV Functions - Rounds 12-16

The Western Demons have arranged the following gatherings to coincide with live telecasts into Perth of the Dees games in Rounds 12-16:

• Rnd 12, Friday 19th June, v Essendon, Telstra Dome - delayed telecast, no function
• Rnd 13, Saturday 27th June, v Brisbane, Gabba - Odin Hotel (tbc), start time 5pm
• Rnd 14, Saturday 4th July, v West Coast Eagles, MCG - Melbourne Hotel, start time 12 noon
• Rnd 15, Sunday 12th July, v Port Power, MCG - Melbourne Hotel, start time 12 noon
• Rnd 16, Saturday 18th July, v Gellong, Skilled - Melbourne Hotel, start time 12 noon

It is recommended that supporters confirm the above arrangements prior to each game by calling our Newsline on 08-94870928.

Everyone is welcome, no entry charge, so we hope you can come along and help us urge the lads on to some much-needed success.

Footy Tipping Update - Round 9

  Current leaders in the 2009 Western Demons Footy Tipping Competition after Round 9 are as follows:

• We currently have 3 joint leaders all on 53 points - Brian Cornford, Mark Johnson & "Robbie4PM"
• There is then a group of 5 people in equal 4th position on 52 points - Steve Bassett, Wade Bollard, Georgia Moulton, "Bench Mark" and "Grow Up Sylvia"
• A full listing of everyone's current standing in the competition is also attached for your interest.

Gordon Jones Award for Moloney

Brent Moloney is the worthy recipient of the 2009 Gordon Jones Award for his efforts during the Melbourne vs West Coast Eagles game at Subiaco on Sunday, May 10th.

Brent worked tirelessly all day, and provided plenty of vigour in and around the clearances, repeatedly driving the Dees into attack, in a game that could well have ended in an upset win for the team but for a few too many unforced errors.

Congratulations, Brent, on a fine performance, from the Western Demons!
